About the event
In the course of her search for a safe place, actress Salwa Naqara regains the memory of the place, reviving people who left behind a trace, in an effort to break the alienation and loss. She observes the stories of the past that she witnessed during the early years of her life (the seventies), contemplates them again, repeats them, and analyzes them, in order to draw the place using them.
The personal and public spheres are intertwined and interconnected, and there, in the intertwining and interconnectedness, the actress re-weaves the threads of memory and builds the fragile fabric of the socio-political situation in which we live. By recalling past events, the actress transforms the complex, incomprehensible game of searching into a Sisyphean task aimed at gaining the right to exist.
