About the event
Yuya's play relies on celebration, humor, and engagement with the audience, and it raises in an entertaining and interesting way the topic of violence, greed, and injustice.
Participation with the audience occupies a large part of it.. An interesting first-class comedy play, “And the story is not the same as the show.” It attracts children because its story is interesting and uses wonderful techniques from the world of puppet theatre. Will the pirates succeed in seizing the Island of Gold, excuse me, the Island of Dates? Was it really an island of gold, or is not everything that glitters gold and that “greed does more harm than good”?
Biography and what it contains:
A group of pirates are scouring the seas in search of a golden island, when suddenly they look into binoculars and see a pile of gold. They try to get it, but they are surprised that it is an island where people are celebrating with their children on the occasion of the date harvest, so the pirates tell them that they will allow them to continue their celebration on the condition that they give them the gold in their possession. The islanders deny that they have gold, but the pirates threaten them that if they do not hand over the gold, they will be forced to use force against them.
Here the conflict begins between the people of the island and the pirates, and the people of the island use their intelligence and tricks to prevent the pirates from harming them or stopping their celebration. After much back and forth between the two parties, the pirates discover that the pile of gold they saw is nothing but a pile of ripe dates, which whenever the sun's rays shine on them, their color becomes like gold. It seems that the people of the island were celebrating the date picking season, and as for the pirates, they were forced to leave the island and search for an island that contains real gold.
